I spent over a year with creative director Sander Lak and CEO Joey Laurenti creating and launching the Sies Marjan brand. This included brand strategy & positioning, naming, visual identity, physical touch-points (from hangtags to chrome signage), digital and a launch film featuring Guinevere van Seenus.
The brand debut at SS16 fashion week in New York was the most buzzed about debut of the week, with Anna Wintour and Kathy Horyn front row and other influencers like Lotta Volkova providing styling, and Clara 3000 providing the soundtrack.
Now 7 collections and 3 years in, the brand continues to flourish with menswear, unusual campaign (including one starring Isabella Rosellini) and Sander Lak winning CFDA designer of the year.
The initial work was completed with 2x4 inc, after parting ways I was approached by Sies Marjan directly and continue to work with Sander on creative strategy and various brand projects as an independent consultant.
